Documents on Public Exhibition

Maitland City Council recognises that community input is vital in order for proposals and projects to respond effectively to local needs and to succeed.

Council obtains this community input by placing plans and proposals on Public Exhibition and inviting community feedback. This process ensures that local residents, organisations and other stakeholders are informed about what is happening in the Maitland area and can have their say on the future of Maitland.

Documents which are placed on exhibition can be split into three major areas:

Planning Matters - This includes Building and Development Applications, Intergrated Development Proposals, as well as Strategic Planning Strategies and plans

General Matters - This includes anything outside the planning sector, such as policy changes, corporate documents and management plans.

Council Surveys   - These are surveys which are created by Council to obtain feedback from the community regarding specific issues and events.  Listed below are surveys which are currently active.
