Campbells Hill Cemetery

Campbells Hill Cemetery was formerly known as West Maitland Cemetery and the first recorded burial was in 1850. The cemetery consists of two (2) denominations - Church of England & Roman Catholic. The cemetery is located in South Street Telarah just off the New England Highway. Campbells Hill Cemetery is one of the largest in the area with over 12,000 recorded burials.

Status

Campbells Hill Cemetery is still in operational use however Council is in the process of changing the status of the cemetery to historical only (with the exception of existing reservations) as the cemetery is nearing full capacity.
