East Maitland Cemetery

The East Maitland Cemetery is located along Raymond Terrace Road East Maitland and comprises several different sections either side of this main road. A couple of sections of the cemeteries back onto the railway line between Maitland and Newcastle. Each of the sections are split into the different religious denominations - this cemetery has the largest range of denominations and is the second largest cemetery overall in the Maitland area. The first recorded burials date back to 1858.

Status

East Maitland Cemetery is still in operational use.
