East Maitland Cemetery 

The East Maitland Cemetery is located on Raymond Terrace Road East Maitland and comprises several different sections either side of this main road. A couple of sections of the cemeteries back onto the railway line between Maitland and Newcastle. Each of the sections are split into the different religious denominations. This cemetery has the largest range of denominations and is the second largest cemetery overall in the Maitland area. The first recorded burials date back to 1858.       East Maitland Cemetery Layout Map

Morpeth Cemetery & Columbarium

Morpeth Cemetery is located on Tank Street Morpeth and consists of a number of denominations and a non-denominational Columbarium wall where ashes are interred. The monuments here are pre-dominantly a mixture of old and modern sandstone and marble. The first recorded burial was in 1845.      Morpeth Cemetery Layout Map.pdf

Rutherford Cemetery 








Rutherford Cemetery is located off the New England Highway at Rutherford and only consists of one (1) denomination - Methodist. The first recorded burial was in 1874 and the cemetery has over 700 recorded burials.    Rutherford Cemetery Layout Map.pdf  

Campbells Hill Cemetery 

Campbells Hill Cemetery was formerly known as West Maitland Cemetery and the first recorded burial was in 1850. The cemetery consists of two (2) denominations - Church of England & Roman Catholic. The cemetery is located in South Street Telarah just off the New England Highway.  This cemetery is only available for existing Interment Rights only.     Campbells Hill Cemetery Layout Map.pdf
