Maitland Living Library- Connecting our community conversation by conversation

Maitland City Library is undertaking a new community initiative called Maitland Living Library. It is just like a regular library with one exception, in the Living Library the books are people !  It is based on the concept that through conversation stereotypes can be replaced with understanding and acceptance, leading to a community rich in fellowship and social harmony.

If there is a particular aspect of your life that would be of interest to others, and you would be happy to share your experiences warmly and openly, then you may be interested in joining our catalogue of living books.
