Participating in the Premier's Reading Challenge?
The Premier's Reading Challenge is open to infants, primary and high school students with reading lists available for years K-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-9. Reading lists are available through the Premier's Reading Challenge website and at all Maitland City Library branches.
The 'Challenge' is the biggest children's book club in Australia and is designed to encourage a love of books and reading. To get started on the Premier's Reading Challenge you'll need a reading log. Reading logs and information about the rules of the 'Challenge' are available at the Premier's Reading Challenge website.
Maitland City Library can provide you with resources to complete the Premier's Reading Challenge. Items on the Premier's Reading Challenge list are identified in the Library catalogue. Picture books included on Premier's Reading Challenge lists are shelved separately for ease of access. Access the library catalogue and select your favourite Premier's Reading Challenge titles. Simply type in Premier's Reading Challenge as your search.
