Community Consultation
Community consultation is an important way for Councils to find out the views of residents and ratepayers on a range of issues. Community consultation can be generally defined as the process of informed communication between the Council and the community on an issue prior to the Council making a decision or determining a direction on that issue.
Maitland City Council is committed to community engagement and effective consultation. Council believes that effective consultation will support and strengthen the trust, goodwill and respect between Council and the community.
