  RAYMOND TERRACE ROAD CLOSED
DURING NIGHT WORK

Roads and Maritime Services (formerly RTA) are currently engaged in night work to upgrade Raymond Terrace Road between Woodberry Road Millers Forest and Seaham Road Nelsons Plains.

Night work started on Sunday 15 April and will be carried out Sunday to Thursday between 7.30pm and 5.30am for two weeks, weather permitting.

During the night roadworks, motorists will be detoured through Tarro and Hexham along Woodberry Road, New England Highway, Pacific Highway and Adelaide Street.

Motorists are asked to observe the detour signs, avoid using Raymond Terrace Road during the night work, and allow additional time if travelling between Maitland and Raymond Terrace.

NOTE:  As of 7 May 2012 night works are still in progress.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MELBOURNE STREET AT RAIL BRIDGE EAST MAITLAND

Rail works are planned to be undertaken on the rail bridge on Melbourne Street (between Day and Cumberland Streets), East Maitland.  In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act (1993), Melbourne Street will be temporarily closed to all traffice for night work from:

TUESDAY 15 MAY to FRIDAY 18 MAY 2012
6.30pm to 6.00am each day

Alternate routes will be via Day, George, Lindesay and Cumberland Streets.  Detour signs will be installed at appropriate locations.  Melbourne Street will be open for normal traffic movement during the daytime.
