Rosalie Ham

The Dressmaker

Author talk and film screening

Before Rosalie Ham's novel The Dressmaker was released as a star studded film, which went on to become a box office hit, it was already considered a best seller. Over 15 years since it's publication, this evocative tale of a Parisian courtier who collides with her past in an Australian country town, The Dressmaker still inspires readers with it's gothic tale of love, hate and haute couture.

Join Rosalie Ham as she talks about the inspiration for the book, the characters and the process of turning the book into a movie. This event includes a screening of The Dressmaker, starring Kate Winslet, Liam Hemsworth, Judy Davis and Hugo Weaving.
