Maitland City Council celebrates and showcases local businesses.
We encourage local businesses to connect with us, and talk through whether your business is compliant and ready to promote.
We want to get the word out that Maitland is a great place to live, visit and work.
By showcasing our unique products we entice visitors, businesses, and even existing residents to discover (or rediscover) our amazing region. Our approach is underpinned by Maitland +10 and Maitland Destination Management Plan.
Council also supports community information being distributed through Community Notices.
We promote our local operators through a variety of platforms.
My Maitland is geared towards residents and visitors alike. It captures the terrific events and activations, businesses, and experiences on offer in Maitland. Tourism operators are encouraged to contact us to discuss how they can tap into a variety of promotional platforms through the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).
The Levee website is all about our premier lifestyle destination in Central Maitland. The site provides information on the bustling program of activations and events, as well as an extensive business directory with all businesses located within the lifestyle precinct.
Maitland City Council's website features a business section, which promotes businesses through business support and news, case studies, blogs, galleries and prospectus documents.
We champion our local business through social media, and love to share stories from our operators.
Each month Council distributes bulletins to consumers and industry to share success stories about our local businesses.
We drive regular campaigns, events, and initiatives that celebrate Maitland as an amazing place to live, visit and invest.
We can’t wait to hear about your business.
We’re excited to connect and advise on our promotional supports. Before we connect, there are a few quick steps to undertake:
