Community Survey

Council undertakes a community survey every few years with a representative cross section of Maitland residents.

The survey is an important indicator of how satisfied the community is with Council, our services and the way we manage a range of areas of responsibility and influence. 

The research includes a randomly selected phone survey of Maitland residents, a complementary online survey and a number of subsequent focus groups, where identified topics are examined in more detail and further explored. 

In 2022, Council engaged Micromex Research, to conduct the telephone survey and online survey during May. Targeted focus groups were conducted in June 2022.
