Morpeth Conservation Area Review
Council is calling on the community to contribute to a Morpeth Conservation Area Review to help identify places of significance that should be added as local heritage items.
Identifying, nominating and listing significant places and objects helps in the protection and management of heritage in Morpeth for future generations. Suggest items, places and public trees of heritage significance that are currently unlisted as heritage items. Stories and social history provided by the community will be valuable in the identification of these places. Share your thoughts on the current boundary of the Morpeth Conservation Area.
The Morpeth Conservation Area Review will result in a revised listing of heritage items under the Maitland Local Environmental Plan and improve the quality of historical information available for the area.
