Moving Checklist

A checklist is a useful tool when moving to a new house. The below list will help you in getting everything organised, reduce stress and the chances of forgetting things.  

Be sure to notify a change of address with government offices like the Electoral Commission, Medicare, Centrelink and Service NSW for your driver's licence. You can do this online through MyGov and Service NSW. 

Visit Australia Post to have your mail redirected and arrange for change of address notifications to be sent. Leading up to your move, keep your eye on who mails you regularly, so that you can arrange to change your address with them. 

If you have pets, ensure you update the address through the petregistry, so that if they go missing they can be returned to you safely. Other businesses, clubs and activities that you are involved with could include; banks, insurance companies, subscriptions, gyms, sports clubs and schools.
