Australia Day 2026 public holiday closures
There will be some changes to Council's services and operating hours on Monday 26 January 2026 due to the Australia Day public holiday.

| Maitland Resource Recovery Facility | No changes to usual operating hours. |
| Visitor Information Centre | No changes to usual operating hours. |
| Maitland Aquatic Centres | Maitland Aquatic Centre open 8am to 4pm. Reopening from 5pm to 9.30pm for Dive in Cinema. East Maitland Aquatic Centre open 8am to 6pm. |
| Maitland Regional Art Gallery | Closed. |
| Maitland Regional Athletics Centre | Closed. Reopen Monday 2 February 4pm-6pm. |
