Christmas and New Year Opening Hours for 2022/23
Maitland City Council will be closing its offices, libraries and some other buildings and services during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year period. The following arrangements will apply during that period.

Mt Vincent Road Waste Management Centre | Christmas Day – closed Open with normal operation hours all other days |
Administration Building | Closes 1.00pm 23 December and re-opens 3 January. |
Maitland Regional Art Gallery | Closes from 3:00pm Friday 23 December 2022 25, 26 and 27 December - closed 28, 29, 30, and 31 December - open 1 and 2 January - closed Normal operating resumes from the 3 January 2023
Operating seven days a week through the January school holidays, from 9 January to 30 January |
Libraries | All branches close at 1.00pm on 23 December and will re-open on 3 January |
Swimming Pools | Christmas Eve – open 6.00am to 4.00pm Christmas Day - closed Boxing Day – open 8.00am to 6.00pm 27 December – open 8.00am to 6.00pm 28, 29 and 30 December – open with normal operation hours New Year’s Eve – open 6.00am to 4.00pm New Year’s Day – open 10.00am to 6.00pm 2 January – open 8.00am to 6.00pm Normal operating hours from 3 January onwards |
Maitland Gaol | 24 December – open from 10.00am 25 December- closed 26 December- closed 27 December – open from 10.00am 28 December - open from 9.00am 29 December – open from 9.00am 30 December – open from 9.00am 31 December – open from 10.00am 1 January - closed 2 January – open from 10.00am

Works Depot and Depot Administration Building | Closes 1.00pm 23 December and will re-open Tuesday 3 January |
Visitor Information Centre | Closes 3.00pm 24 December and will re-open with normal operating hours from 10.00am 26 December. |
