Food businesses

A food business is any retail food activity involved in the preparation, handling, storage or sale of food for retail purposes or tastings (including commercial and charity). Examples: fixed premises (cafe, restaurant, supermarket, takeaway, service station etc); childcare centres and school canteens; mobile food vehicles; markets stalls; and home business preparing food for sale or consumption.
