Aqua passes and memberships are valid across both Maitland and East Maitland pools.
*Corporate rate applied to persons who are financial members of a corporate fitness club with an agreement with their employer and Maitland City Council.
In accordance with Royal Lifesaving Society Guidelines any child under the age of 14 years will not be permitted entry to the centre without the continuous supervision of a person 16 years and over. In addition:
- All children under 5 years and non-swimmers are to be always within arm’s reach of the supervising adult.
- All children under the age of 6 years are to wear a compulsory Keep Watch @ Public Pools wristband which must be always worn. Wristbands are available from aquatic staff
- In accordance with Royal Lifesaving Society Guidelines any child under the age of 14 years will not be permitted entry to the centre without the continuous supervision of an adult 16 years and over.
- There is a minimum ratio of one parent/adult carer to 4 children under the age of 10 years.
- Lifeguards are an important safety feature but cannot and do not replace the close supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Unsupervised children under the age of 14 including weak and non-swimmers will be removed from the water by lifeguards if they are concerned for their safety.
