Indoor pool
Current updates
- The outdoor pools at Maitland Aquatics Centre, and East Maitland Aquatics Centre, have now closed for the winter season. There are still plenty of ways to keep fit and have fun in the water throughout the colder months, with our indoor, heated pool at Maitland Aquatics Centre open daily for lap swimming, aqua fitness classes, learn to swim lessons, and so much more.
A mechanical failure is currently impacting our mobility hoist at the indoor pool at Maitland Aquatics Centre. We are currently awaiting repairs for the machine and will inform the community when this access has been restored. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
The indoor heated pool at Maitland Aquatics Centre is used for swimming programs, including learn to swim and fitness classes. The pool offers disabled ramp access and is heated to a warm 28 degrees.
Entry to the pool is $6.00 for adults, $4.90 for children, with kids under four free. The cost of entry will include access to both pools (except during the winter season when the 50m outdoor pool is closed). Visit the pool entry fees and passes section for full information on admission and program costs.
In addition to recreational and lap swimming, the Aquatics Team also run learn to swim and fitness programs in the indoor pool.
By purchasing a pool membership it allows you access to all pools at both Maitland and East Maitland from the date of purchase. Three, six, twelve month and perpetual direct debit memberships are available. Cashless payment options including credit card, EFTPOS and direct debit.
