Available Rooms
Main Hall
Discover a versatile setting that can easily accommodate up to 320 guests theatre style or 208 in a formal setting, complemented with breakroom options, a large stage area, dressing rooms and a green room.
Evans Room
A suitable space for smaller, intimate and private functions such as conferences, dinner parties, presentations, cocktail parties and weddings.
The Maitland Room
The Maitland Room is suitable as a conference space, training room or meeting room with the option for larger conferences to use this space as a breakout area.
Heritage Room & Paterson Room
For those looking to host smaller scale events including meetings, training seminars and corporate launches, the Heritage Room (pictured) and the Paterson Room are sure to impress your guests.
Hunter Room & Committee Room 1
The Hunter Room (pictured) and Committee Room 1 are suitable as a conference break out room, meeting room or training room.
Green Room
The perfect chill out area for pre and post performance fun when booking the Main Hall or as a breakout area for conferences.
Dressing Rooms
Hire of the Maitland Town Hall Main Hall includes access to our newly constructed dressing rooms featuring light up mirrors that enhance the spacious ambiance. Appointed with pristine bathrooms, these spaces provide a seamless blend of functionality and sophistication for a truly elevated dressing experience.
Sunken Foyer
Our arrival destination for welcoming your guests or mid event breakout functions. The space also features a large projection screen to showcase images, videos or welcome messages for your event.

Audiovisual, lighting and event equipment
Scion Audio and Events are Maitland Town Hall’s AV contractor. Scion can be contacted for AV, lighting, event equipment and more.
Catering
We understand the importance of having the right cuisine for your event and as such, we only use a selection of preferred caterers. Hirers are required to contact the catering companies directly to request quotes and arrange packages for each event. The panel of caterers are the only approved operators for the venue.
Parking and accessibility
Entry to Town Hall is now via the Maitland Administration Centre. Parking is available behind the Maitland Administration Building (evenings & weekends) as well as surrounding public parking during daytime events.
Equipment
Hire of Maitland Town Hall includes access to our equipment, which can be set up for you in your preferred layout. Our equipment options include long tables, round tables, bar tables and banquet chairs.
