Matt Lantry has had a transformational impact on rugby league in Maitland and the Hunter region. From his early days playing junior rugby for West Maitland, Morpeth, and the Maitland Pickers, to a professional stint in the NRL with the Parramatta Eels, Matt has dedicated his life to the sport and his community.
Since returning to Maitland in 2020, Matt has coached the Maitland Pickers to six major titles in six seasons, including four consecutive Newcastle Rugby League premierships and two NSW President's Cups.
