We're all human – let's be kind

World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on 13 November and we launched our Respect Campaign to mark the occasion. 

With the year's end bringing increased demand on local services, we’re asking the community to show kindness and respect in all interactions with our staff, whether in person, over the phone or online.

This campaign proudly features photos of Maitland City Council staff. As our community grows and our services get busier, it’s important to remember that there's a real person behind every interaction. 

If customers are bullying, abusive, threatening or displaying antisocial behaviours towards our staff or other members of the public, they will be asked to leave.
