Aquatic centres

There will be a range of operational changes from Monday 28 September that will see Maitland Aquatic Centre open the outdoor pool, splash pad, change rooms and showers.

Due to unforeseen and urgent repair works required, East Maitland pool opening date is yet to be confirmed.

The popular splash pad and inflatables will be open over the school holidays and weekends with restrictions in place to ensure our patrons remain safe.

Aqua Classes, and all Learn to Swim classes will be recommencing. Social distancing will be in place where practically possible for these lessons in line with the public health orders.

There will continue to be a limit to the maximum number of swimmers to a lane and patrons will be required to abide by social distancing of 1.5m unless in the same family.

Your safety is our highest priority, so if you’re feeling unwell, please stay home.
