Amendment to the 2016 City Wide Section 94 Development Contributions Plan includes a review of the methodology for the haulage levy to reflect Council’s costs in the maintenance of haulage routes, as well as enabling the collection of haulage contributions from development other than extractive industries that generate heavy haulage movements.

The proposed new model would not apply to any existing extractive industries which have consents in place. It would apply to new development proposals and any modification applications to expand existing operations.

Persons wishing to comment on the Amended Plan should do so in writing. Submissions should be received by Council no later than 5pm on 21 April 2025. Please ensure that the reasons for supporting or opposing the draft plan are clearly stated.
