The Rates Subsidy for Community Groups Policy outlines the framework for providing an annual rates subsidy to eligible not-for-profit community organisations delivering services and facilities to the Maitland community.

In accordance with Council’s policy review process, the Rates Subsidy for Community Groups Policy has been reviewed. The revised policy is now on public exhibition to allow for community feedback prior to finalisation.

The updated policy introduces improved clarity around eligibility criteria, assessment principles, and ongoing administration of subsidies, ensuring a transparent and consistent approach to supporting community organisations.
