To assist community members affected by the recent flood event, Council will be providing clean-up assistance for eligible residential properties.
The clean-up program covers flood affected household waste from residential properties only and includes the waiving of waste fees at the facility until 18 August 2025. Applications for the waiver of waste fees close on 31 July 2025.
Please note: this is applicable to residential homes only. Commercial, industrial, vacant, or non-residential farmland are not eligible.
How to apply
If your residential property has been affected by flood water, please complete the online form. Council will review your request and confirm eligibility within five (5) business days.
If approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Please bring this proof of eligibility email along with a proof of address when dropping of your waste at the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility.
