MRAG celebrates 10 years

Margaret Olly stood at Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRAG) for its official opening in 2009, and ten years on from the redevelopment, MRAG celebrated the milestone with ‘X Marks the Spot’.

‘X Marks the Spot’ is a series of eight exhibitions inside, and two installations on the exterior of MRAG including Brett Piva ’s mural ‘Remnants before the Tasman’, and Nell’s ‘Made in the Light – Happy Cloud and Drips’.

Entry to MRAG is free, so this spring head down to High Street to check out one of Maitland’s treasures. On Sundays you can also drop in for Free Art Sunday anytime between 11.00am and 1.00pm.
