Bulky waste collection
Maitland City Council will be introducing a new on demand bulky waste kerbside collection service, available to all domestic properties in the Maitland LGA.
This service is set to commence in June, with bookings made available in May.
Through this service, residents will have the option to book a date for bulky waste kerbside collections or can request waste vouchers to redeem at Mount Vincent Road Waste Management Centre.
We'll have more details to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to Council's official channels to find out more in April.
Current bulky waste service (until June 2023)
Council has included Remondis Australia on the Service Provider list for Bulky Waste Collection Services.
Please note:
- Remondis will collect a fee directly from the resident requesting the service for the removal of the bulky waste.
- If the resident is able to present a current tip voucher issued by Maitland City Council to the property for which the collection service is requested, disposal fees will not be payable for up to 400kg of bulky waste.
Remondis Australia can be contacted on 02 4921 7600.
