Venues & Facilities for Hire
We're opening our community halls, sporting facilities and major venues in a staged way to ensure the health and safety of our customers and our employees.
The first stage focuses on supporting our regular hirers to welcome them back to our venues. We'll advise when we can accommodate casual bookings very soon.
The team can be contacted at [email protected] and aim to get back to enquiries with 48 to 72 hours. They are currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries, so please have patience as they work diligently to help you or check out the FAQs available here.
Council has a wide range of Venues and Facilities available for hire including; halls, sportsgrounds and parks.

To book or enquire about availability and fees at a Council Venue for either Casual or Regular Hire, you can contact the Major Venues and Facilities Team by email at [email protected] or by calling 02 4934 9700.
Once availability has been confirmed with the Major Venues & Facilities Team, you will need to complete the Application form and send to the Major Venues & Facilities Team for approval and Booking confirmation.
Conditions of Hire are applicable to both Regular Hirers and Casual Hirers and these Conditions of Hire will need to be read and understood before the Application form is completed and submitted.
The Maitland Town Hall is currently closed if you would further information on this venue please contact the Major Venues and Facilities Team by email at [email protected] or by calling 02 4934 9700.
When the venue is open for hire, you will need to complete an Application form and send to the Major Venues & Facilities Team for approval and Booking confirmation.
Conditions of Hire are applicable to both Regular Hirers and Casual Hirers and these Conditions of Hire will need to be read and understood before the Application form is completed and submitted.
A brochure is also available with information on the Maitland Town Hall.
To book or enquire about availability and fees at a Council Sporting Facility for either Casual or Regular Hire, you can contact the Major Venues and Facilities Team by email at [email protected] or by calling 02 4934 9700.
Please complete the application form and submit to Council. A booking letter confirming the booking dates and times will be issued. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive the booking letter.
Conditions of Hire are applicable to both Regular Hirers and Casual Hirers and these Conditions of Hire will need to be read and understood before the Application form is completed and submitted.
Please note that a separate application form is to be completed if the facility is being hired by a School. Refer to School Bookings below.
If you are a School of Educational Organisation and you would like to enquire about booking a Council Sporting Facility for School Sport, Zone, Carnivals or an Event etc. you can contact the Major Venues and Facilities Team by email at [email protected] or by calling 02 4934 9700.

Council offers a range of parks and reserves to provide a stunning natural backdrop for your next special occasion. To book a park/reserve for your next special occasion or event please complete the application form or call our friendly staff on 02 4934 9700. Rotundas are available for hire at selected parks please contact staff for further details.

- Ray Lawler Reserve/Morpeth Common – Morpeth (No Rotunda)
