Group and school bookings
Morpeth Museum offers tour guides to join your group and primary school programs that can be delivered at the Museum.
Phone Morpeth Museum for more information on 02 4934 4301 or stop by during opening hours to plan your visit.
Let a local, informed Morpeth Museum guide take you on a journey from 19th century Morpeth into the present day. The guide will jump on your coach and explore the historic main street, churches, buildings, businesses, and so much more. The Morpeth Tour will start and finish at the old Morpeth Courthouse (now Morpeth Museum) with entry to the Museum also included. The tour lasts up to an hour.
An alternative longer tour is also available for the Maitland district where you will pick up the guide for your coach at the Maitland Visitors Information Centre.
A combination of Morpeth plus Maitland is also available and all tour lengths can be tailored to your group's needs and schedule.
Morpeth Museum offers a primary school program which has curriculum outcomes in the New South Wales Syllabus, The Past in the Present. Take a fun excursion to Morpeth Museum where children can take part in the rewarding ‘Treasures, Trial and Time’ program.
At the Museum – ‘Treasures, Trial and Time’
- Hunt down the ‘treasures’ of Morpeth Museum using 12 special clues, and compare the treasures of the past with the treasures of today
