Order a new bin package
All residential properties in Maitland need a domestic waste package service, which includes three (3) bins for each type of waste.
The annual services fee for your bins is divided over your remaining annual rates payments.
Yellow bins can be 240L (regular) or 360L (large).

Add a bin to an existing service
If you are completely filling up your bins each week or fortnight and need extra disposal room, you can upgrade your service. You can add individual bins to your service, or even another three (3) bin domestic waste package.
The annual service fees for any additional bins are added to your remaining annual rates payments.
Additional yellow bins can be 240L (regular) or 360L (large).

Change bin size
You can upgrade your yellow recycling bin to a larger size (360L), or downgrade to the regular size (240L). You cannot change the size of your red or green bin.
