Connect a new domestic bin package
All residential properties in Maitland must have a domestic waste service. This includes three bins for general waste (red), organics (green), and recycling (yellow), as well as a bulky waste service.
The fee is included in your rates and the waste package covers:
- Weekly green bin collection
- Weekly or fortnightly red bin collection (based on package chosen)
- Fortnightly yellow bin collection, with a choice of 240 litre or 360 litre bin sizes
- Two bulky waste collections per year, (kerbside collection or a self-haul voucher)
The fee also helps fund waste education, landfill rehabilitation and future waste initiatives.
